Exploring Watercolor and Ink Workshop / Jan 24

AGES: Adults, 18+

DESCRIPTION: Join artist Pat Herman as she guides students through a discovery of the expressive possibilities of ink and watercolor. Level up your watercolor skills as you experiment and explore the interplay between control and spontaneity. Using personal photographs brought from home as inspiration, you’ll transform meaningful images into fresh, expressive artworks that blend memory and imagination. Through guided exercises, you’ll learn techniques for layering transparent washes, creating dynamic linework, and embracing the beautiful unpredictability of fluid media. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have developed a deeper understanding of how ink and watercolor can interact, complement, and challenge each other to create vibrant, evocative imagery.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced beginner and above.

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

SUPPLIES: All supplies included, please bring a couple of photos to inspire subject matter.

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
