WHEN: 4-class session / Saturday, March 14, from 10 AM-12 PM
AGES: 9-12
DESCRIPTION: In this class led by fiber artist Bridget Restivo, kids will learn the basics of crochet while making an amigurumi bumblebee! Amigurumi is a style of crocheting small, stuffed figurines. Students will learn a variety of crochet stitches and techniques while making their bumblebee: single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, Magic Circle start, increase, decrease, working in the round, color changes, fastening off, embroidery, sewing, and more.
While we will complete just one project together, students will be given resources of how to find more patterns to continue their new hobby outside of class.
