WHEN: 4-class session / Thursdays, Sept 17 +24, from 5:30-7 PM
AGES: 9-12
DESCRIPTION: With ceramicist Alayna Erne, kids will explore the fundamentals of working with clay—pinching, rolling, and shaping it into creative forms. They'll learn basic techniques like scoring, smoothing, and adding texture, while using their imagination to create playful sculptures or functional pieces.
After School Sculpture class is offered every month from September-May for ages 8-12. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 3D media such as clay, plaster, paper mache, or mixed materials. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and sets of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!
