Family Ceramic Workshop: Mini Monsters/ October 4

$25.00

WHEN: 1-day workshop / Saturday, October 4, 1 -4 PM

AGES: Recommended for families, ages 8+. All kids must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION: Get into the spooky spirit with an afternoon of creativity for the whole family! Led by teaching artist Alayna Erne, families invited to come together and create their very own mini monsters from clay. With Alayna’s guidance, each family member will have the chance to design and sculpt their own unique creature — whether it has one eye, scary hairy textures, fangs, or a sweet smile! From creepy to cute, your monster can be as spooky (or not!) as you like. After sculpting, students will apply glaze to bring their monster to life with color and personality. The Center will then fire the pieces in our kiln, and your family of monsters will be ready for pickup just in time for Halloween!

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

TUITION: $25/person. Please note: Every attending child and adult needs to have their own individual ticket.

SUPPLIES: All materials are provided, including glazing & firing
