Printmaking with Matisse and Picasso Ages 5-8 / October 2-30
WHEN: 4-class session / Wednesdays, October 8-29 OR Thursdays, October 2-30 (no class Oct 23), from 3:30-5 PM.
DESCRIPTION: This month, kids will take inspiration from the bold shapes, vibrant colors, and expressive styles of modern masters Matisse and Picasso. Guided by artist Jen Aitchison, students will design their own printing plates using lines and patterns, then bring them to life with foam, stamps, drawing, and bright inks. Young artists will create bold, joyful prints full of personality and color!
After School Art classes are offered every month from September-May for ages 5-18. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 2D media such as watercolor, pastel, graphite, acrylic, or printmaking. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
