Winter Worlds: Ages 5-8 / December 2-17

WHEN: 3-class session / Wednesdays, December 2-15, from 3:30-5 PM or Thursdays, October 3-17, from 3:30-5 PM

DESCRIPTION: ‍ Instructed by Jen Aitchison, young artists will explore the magic of bringing light to the darkest month of the year, inspired by the dreamlike winter landscapes of Marc Chagall. Through painting, drawing, and observation, students will explore color theory and how artists use light and color to create mood and atmosphere while creating their own glowing winter worlds.

After School Art classes are offered every month from September-May for ages 5-18. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 2D media such as watercolor, pastel, graphite, acrylic, or printmaking. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
