DESCRIPTION: Explore the art of hand embroidery with guidance from instructor Laurel Izard. Whether a beginner or more experienced, in this class you will learn how to create engaging images using a few simple stitches. Experiment using vintage fabrics and repurposed clothing to create exciting original projects. Learn how to use color, value and shape in interesting compositions and how to incorporate fabric paint and other materials in our work. With a wide selection of vibrant embroidery threads, fabric paints, and fabrics to choose from, you'll find endless inspiration for your creations.

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
