WHEN: 1-day workshop / Saturday, December 5 from 10 AM-12 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Led by artist Diana Stezalski, this workshop is all about deep diving into the possibilities of gesture drawing. Work from a live model to explore the human figure through ink, gesture, and unexpected tools. Using dowels, brushes, and other extended tools, you'll make large, expressive marks that capture the energy of a pose rather than every detail.
Build on your favorite drawings with layers of ink, exploring how line, shadow, and tone can bring a figure to life. This workshop is all about taking creative risks, trusting your instincts, and discovering new ways to draw. All experience levels are welcome!
LOCATION: The Vinay and Suman Das Foundation 2D Studio, across the street at 116
SKILL LEVEL: All levels welcome.
TUITION: $50 for non-members / $45 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount
SUPPLIES: All supplies included.
