WHEN: 4-class session / Tuesdays, January 12- February 2, from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Get ready to experiment, get a little messy, and discover just how much you can do with a lump of clay! Join ceramicist Pam Anderson for this 4 week workshop focused on exploring the pottery wheel, building skills, and finding new ways to work with clay. Practice centering, opening, and shaping while learning techniques for pulling thinner, more even walls, improving control, reducing clay waste, and making the most of your materials. Beginners will build a strong foundation, while more experienced students can revisit familiar skills, troubleshoot common challenges, and experiment with new approaches. The focus is on exploration, practice, and process rather than producing finished pieces, though you may end up with a keeper or two.
Students in this class may also sign up for the January Open Studios for a reduced rate. Please see the Open Studio Registration page for more information.
SKILL LEVEL: All levels welcome, including beginners
LOCATION: Ceramics Studio at 116, across the street.
TUITION: $145 for non-members / $130.50 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10%-member discount
