WHEN: 4-class session / Tuesdays, June 9-30, from 2-5 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: With guidance from Alexia Trzyna, students will build upon both wheel throwing and handbuilding skills. Participants may choose to focus on the pottery wheel, handbuilding, or move between both based on their interests and goals.
Those working on the wheel will refine core techniques—improving consistency, form, and control—while exploring more complex forms such as lidded vessels, altered shapes, and larger-scale work. Handbuilding students can expand on foundational skills, incorporating advanced approaches to construction, surface design, and combining techniques.
PREREQUISITE: Intermediate + Advanced Students / Students should be proficient in foundational ceramics techniques.
LOCATION: Ceramics Studio at 116, across the Street
TUITION: $150 for non-members / $135.00 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount
SUPPLIES: All materials are provided, including 12.5 lbs. of clay. Additional clay may be purchased, if desired.
