Summer Art Camp: Shark Week: It's Safe to go in the Water (Media!) / July 20-24

WHEN: 5-day session / July 20-24 from 12-2:30 PM

AGES: 9-12

INSTRUCTOR: Jen Aitchison

DESCRIPTION: Campers will swim into water-based art like watercolor and acrylics to create colorful underwater shark habitats. Paint and drawing lessons will teach techniques to add texture, depth, and movement to their ocean scenes. In daily discussions, campers will learn and share fascinating facts about shark species from every ocean in the world. Frothy waves, swirling currents, and  lively aquatic landscapes will spark imagination while exploring the power and wonder of the oceans—where sharks rule!

CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

LOCATION: Upstairs classroom

TUITION: $150 for non-members / $135 for current CAC Family Members, enter code CACFAMMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount

Please note: Tuitions are non-transferrable; students must attend the week that they are registered.

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
