DESCRIPTION: Campers will draw their favorite game characters and learn how artists plan and develop ideas. Then they’ll design their own original characters in multiple poses—jumping, running, or striking heroic stances—and create pixel-inspired artworks. Students will also build imaginative game worlds, experimenting with colorful terrain, movement, and storytelling. By combining art, design, and observation, campers will strengthen their creativity and build skills that could inspire their own video game creations.
CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.
LOCATION: Downstairs classroom
