DESCRIPTION: Students will explore techniques across a variety of mediums, including graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, oil pastels, acrylics, inks, scratchboard, linoleum, and more; while learning to layer and combine media with collage, photos, and found objects. Daily drawing exercises strengthen observation, composition, and personal style. By the end of the week, campers will leave with a diverse portfolio of bold, artworks and the skills to bring any creative concept to a finished work of art.
CAC is featuring a series of special studio intensives just for teens, ages 13+. Each intensive focuses on a specific media and is designed to challenge students to elevate their current art skills or explore an entirely new practice, becoming a stronger artist altogether.
LOCATION: Upstairs classroom
