Family Ceramics Multi Session / June 11- July 2

WHEN: 4-class session / Thursdays, June 11 - July 2 from 5-8 pm

AGES: 8+ with an adult

DESCRIPTION: Grab a family member and learn a new skill together this summer! Join instructor Alayna Erne as she introduces participants of all ages to the basics of pottery. Students will have the opportunity to work both collaboratively and independently on the pottery wheel, learning to center clay and pull walls to create simple vessel forms. Pairs will be given 12.5 lbs of clay to use over the course of the class.

In addition to wheel throwing, participants will explore basic handbuilding techniques to create unique pieces. The final class session will focus on glazing, and all work will be fired at the Center for later pickup.

LOCATION: The Ceramics Studio at 116, across the street.

TUITION: $190 for pair of non-members / $171 for current CAC Family Members, enter code CACFAMMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
