Summer Art Camp: The Dunes: Create, Inspire, Conserve / JUL 14-18

WHEN: 5-day session, July 14-18 / Select the age group that suits your artist

Morning Session: Ages 5-9 / 8:30-11 AM

Afternoon Session: Ages 10+ / 12-2:30 PM

INSTRUCTOR: Jen Aitchison

DESCRIPTION: Join us for an inspiring week of creativity and environmental action! Young artists will be inspired by CAC's summer exhibit, Right Here, which tells the story of conservationists and artists Vin and Hazel Hanell, alongside contemporary artists who focus on similar themes in their works. Throughout the week, campers will learn how art can help protect the Indiana Dunes. Meet some of the exhibiting artists and create your own conservation-inspired masterpieces. Campers will discover how art can be a powerful tool for change while developing their artistic skills, learning about local plants and animals and affirming their commitment to sustainability.

CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

TUITION: $150 for non-members / $135 for current CAC Family Members, enter code CACFAMMEMBER at checkout to receive 10%-member discount

Please note: Tuitions are non-transferrable; students must attend the week that they are registered.

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
