Nature Explorers: Paint! Ages 5-8 / NOV 5-20
WHEN: 3-class session / Wednesdays, November 5-19 OR Thursdays, November 6-20, from 3:30-5 PM.
DESCRIPTION: With Artist and Instructor Jen Aitchison, young nature lovers will take a close look at the amazing plants and trees of the local landscape. We'll look carefully at what we see in nature—like the shapes of leaves, the colors of the sky, and the patterns in the sand and bark. They’ll take inspiration from the landscape paintings in the gallery. Then, using bright paints, kids will turn their observations into colorful artwork. paint using lines, shapes, and brushstrokes, all while discovering the beauty of the world around them.
After School Art classes are offered every month from September-May for ages 5-18. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 2D media such as watercolor, pastel, graphite, acrylic, or printmaking. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
