WHEN: 4-class session / Thursdays, July 30- August 20 from 11 AM-12 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Discover the Zentangle method—an approachable, relaxing way to create intricate images using structured patterns. Guided by Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) Deb Stipp, participants will explore how this meditative drawing practice can support focus, build confidence, and encourage a sense of calm while creating unique, beautiful pieces of artwork.
Students will learn the foundational steps of the Zentangle method along with the philosophy behind the practice. Each class builds on previous techniques, introducing new pattern possibilities and creative approaches. Participants will complete two finished pieces during each session, exploring tangle structures, shading techniques, and working across a variety of tile sizes and shapes; beginning with traditional black-and-white methods and gradually expanding to include the use of color.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / All skill levels welcome
LOCATION: Vinay and Suman Das Foundation 2D Studio, across the street at 116.
