Stained Glass 3-D Cactus Workshop/ July 17 + 24

WHEN: 2 Day Workshop / Fridays, July 17, from 6-9 pm + July 24, from 6-8pm

AGES: Adults, 18+

DESCRIPTION: Join artist Francie Bean for some prickly fun as she guides students through the full stained glass process, from precise cutting and shaping glass to applying copper foil and soldering pieces together to create a detailed stained glass version of their favorite succulent or cactus.

SKILL LEVEL: intermediate and above / Students must have completed Beginner’s Stained Glass

LOCATION: Vinay and Suman Das Foundation 2d Studio across the street at 116

TUITION: $80 for non-members / $72 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount

SUPPLIES: All Students are expected to bring the following supplies:

Your choice of green glass in one or more shades

14 gauge wire

Ceramic pot (4.5”-5” pot recommended)

Floral foam ((2.6”x3.4”x7.8” recommended)

Standard Stained Glass tools

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
