WHEN: 4-class session / Wednesday, August 13- September 3, from 6-8:30 pm
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Taught by professional illustrator Amy Jindra Hodgson, students are invited to explore the connection between illustration and narrative. Through guided exercises and creative prompts, participants will develop foundational illustration skills while learning how to think like visual storytellers. Amy will introduce key concepts such as cinematic framing, composition, and character development, showing how these elements work together to bring stories to life on the page. Students will experiment with translating ideas, emotions, and narratives into compelling visual form. Each session includes prompts meant to spark ideas, encourage experimentation, and support a range of skill levels—from beginners to more experienced artists looking to deepen their storytelling practice.
