Double Walled Ceramics Pitchers/ July 16- August 6

WHEN: 4-class session / Thursdays, from 6 PM-9 PM

AGES: Adults, 18+

DESCRIPTION: In this four-week workshop, students with previous wheel-throwing experience will expand their skills as ceramic artist Alayna Erne guides them through the process of creating a double-walled pitcher on the potter’s wheel. Each session will focus on techniques for forming and assembling the components while considering design cohesion, functionality, and refined surface finishing.

Students will also explore basic glazing and decorative approaches to enhance their finished work. The Center will fire all pieces.

SKILL LEVEL: Students must be able to confidently throw 2 lbs. of clay

LOCATION: Use the south door next to mural, Downstairs classroom

TUITION: $150 for non-members / $135 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10%-member discount

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
