AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Join ceramic artist Maureen Duffy-Daugavietis for an advanced ceramics class designed for experienced students ready to strengthen their technical skills and expand their creative practice. Inspired by the spirited challenges of The Great Pottery Throw Down, Maureen will present weekly projects that test both technique and imagination.
Students are encouraged to focus on developing skills rather than creating polished finished pieces, embracing experimentation, problem-solving, and the learning process along the way. Some challenges may require students to prepare for class by sketching ideas or developing design concepts in advance. This class is ideal for ceramicists who are eager to refine their abilities, take creative risks, and push their work in new directions. Best of all, it is sure to be a fun and inspiring experience
SKILL LEVEL: Student must be able comfortably throw 2 pounds or more on the wheel
