WHEN: 1-day workshop / Friday, June 26 from 6-9 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Guided by artist Alayna Erne, step into the world of miniature sculpture in this imaginative ceramics class focused on creating small-scale scenes. Students will design and build their own tiny environments—anything from cozy rooms and whimsical landscapes to narrative dioramas—using handbuilding techniques. Students are encouraged to come with an idea or concept in mind to help guide their project.
Participants will learn how to construct, attach, and refine small forms, with an emphasis on detail, texture, and storytelling.; while utilizing slab and pinch methods, creating miniature objects, and adding surface design to bring each scene to life. Pieces will be glazed and fired, ready to display and enjoy.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above
