Ceramic Luminary Workshop / July 10

WHEN: 1-day workshop / Friday, July 10 from 6-9 PM

AGES: Adults, 18+

DESCRIPTION: Celebrate summer nights with handmade ceramics in this beginner-friendly workshop led by Alayna Erne. Students will construct a hand-built luminary using slab-building techniques and a variety of decorative methods to make each piece uniquely their own.

Participants will learn how to cut, assemble, and embellish clay slabs to create a functional ceramic lantern that glows beautifully when illuminated. Students will complete the glazing process during the workshop, and the Center will fire all pieces

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / All levels are welcome

LOCATION: The Ceramics Studio across the street, at 116

TUITION: $55 for non-members / $49.50 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount

SUPPLIES: All materials are provided, including glazing & firing

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
