WHEN: 1-day workshop / Saturday, July 25, from 2-5 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Guided by Maureen Duffy-Daugavietis, participants will design and build a ceramic mug using slab construction and a range of surface decoration techniques, resulting in a piece that reflects their individual style.
Throughout the workshop, students will shape, join, and personalize their mugs while learning the fundamentals of handbuilding with clay. Participants will apply their choice of glaze colors during class, and the Center will fire all pieces.
This workshop is open to all experience levels. Each participant will leave with a distinctive handmade mug that is perfect for coffee, tea, or any favorite beverage.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / All levels are welcome
LOCATION: The Ceramics Studio across the street at 116.
