Summer Art Camp: Illustration + Imagination / July 13-17

WHEN: 5-day session, July 13-17, from 8:30-11 AM

INSTRUCTOR: Hailey Perritt

DESCRIPTION: Floating islands, twisting forests, sparkling cities, and magical landscapes, oh my! Campers will create stories and illustrate scenes from these worlds, learning how to use drawing, color, and special details to make each place feel alive and full of adventure. Campers will explore the worlds of their favorite comics, movies, and TV shows to see how the setting can make stories extra special or relatable. Using the rules of their worlds, campers will design characters that truly belong—shaped by the places they live and the stories they tell.

CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
