Summer Art Camp: Up in the Air / June 22-26

$150.00

WHEN: 5-day session, June 22-26, from 8:30-11 AM

AGES: 5-8

INSTRUCTOR: Jen Aitchison

DESCRIPTION: Kids will use drawing and storytelling to dream up magical, silly flying machines. They’ll sketch their ideas, paint colorful designs, and then build them into moving sculptures that twist, spin, and float—like something out of a dream! Campers will explore fun ways to balance, hang, and make their creations move, using simple materials and lots of imagination. Inspired by artists like Alexander Calder, Ruth Asawa, and Theo Jansen, they’ll bring their stories to life in 3D, creating sculptures that tell a tale and move in the air!

CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

TUITION: $150 for non-members / $135 for current CAC Family Members, enter code CACFAMMEMBER at checkout to receive 10%-member discount

Please note: Tuitions are non-transferrable; students must attend the week that they are registered.
