Teen Comics Workshop / Jan 16
WHEN: 1-day workshop / Friday, January 16 from 5-7 PM
AGES: 12-18
DESCRIPTION: Join artist and novelist Casey Vernon for an introductory workshop for teens on comic book development. Casey will guide students through the basics of story structure—creating a hero, establishing a setting, and building a compelling conflict. Participants will also learn essential elements of comic book storytelling, including panel layout, composition, text bubbles, and the use of color and light. Teens will begin developing their own ideas and will have the opportunity to share their work and receive feedback from peers.
LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
