Preschool Pop-In: Play with your Food! / Sept 8

WHEN: 1-class session / Tuesday, Sept from 9-10:30 AM

AGES: 3-5

DESCRIPTION: Instructed by Jen Aitchison, Preschool artists will explore the fun of printmaking as they use real fruits and other printmaking tools to create layered artwork filled with texture, patterns, and shapes. Through stamping, layering, and experimenting with color, young artists will discover how simple shapes can become exciting works of art. This joyful workshop encourages imagination, creativity, and confidence while introducing little artists to the basics of printmaking through playful discovery

Preschool Pop-Ins are offered on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 9-10:30 AM and are recommended for ages 3-5. Young artists will focus on the development of fine motor skills through creative arts learning experiences. Each class will focus on a unique theme that highlights color, shape, cutting, building or painting. Parents and/or caregivers are encouraged to stay and create together with their young artist. Drop-off requires potty training. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
