WHEN: Monday, January 19 / attend any time between 10 AM-2 PM
DESCRIPTION: We invite you to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. at the Third Annual Martin Luther King Day Celebration at Chesterton Art Center. Participants will have the opportunity to create art and poetry in the spirit of celebration of the power of words. Ida Short of the Goshen Printmakers Guild willing be present, offering letterpress demonstrations.
The program will include an all-ages storytelling event in the gallery at 1 pm. Personal stories, poetry readings and more are welcome. If you’d like to secure your spot as a storyteller, please email Cara at programs@chestertonart.org
TUITION: This event is free + all ages are welcome
