Creative with Clay, Ages 8-12 / OCT 6-27

$100.00

WHEN: 4-class session / Mondays, October 6-27 from 4:30-6 PM

AGES: 8-12

DESCRIPTION: With Ceramicist Allyce Ebert, kids will explore the fundamentals of working with clay—pinching, rolling, and shaping it into creative forms. They'll learn basic techniques like scoring, smoothing, and adding texture, while using their imagination to create playful sculptures or functional pieces. Plus, they'll get a chance to try the pottery wheel for a fun introduction to throwing! It's all about getting messy, experimenting, and building confidence.

After School Sculpture class is offered every month from September-May for ages 8-12. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 3D media such as clay, plaster, paper mache, or mixed materials. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

TUITION: $100 for non-members / $90 for current CAC Family Members, enter code CACFAMMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount

SUPPLIES: All supplies provided
