Contemporary Printmaking for Teens/ Oct 2-30
WHEN: 4-class session / Thursdays, October 2-30 (no class Oct 23), from 5:30-7 PM
DESCRIPTION: This month, artist and Instructor Jen Aitchison will focus on printmaking techniques. Students will create monoprints, and experiment with stamp art and illustration, all while learning how shape, pattern, and line communicate deeper meanings. We’ll discuss into Matisse’s playful and vibrant printmaking techniques, alongside Picasso’s groundbreaking use of line and form in his prints and take inspiration from the work of contemporary printmaker and CAC exhibiting artist Ramiro Rodriguez. By studying their unique approaches to printmaking, artists will gain fresh insights into their own artistic process and vision.
After School Art classes are offered every month from September-May for ages 5-18. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 2D media such as watercolor, pastel, graphite, acrylic, or printmaking. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

TUITION: $90 for non-members / $81 for current CAC Family Members, enter code CACFAMMEMBER at checkout to receive 10%-member discount
