WHEN: 4-class session / Wednesday, January 7-28 OR Thursday, January 8-29 from 3:30- 5PM
DESCRIPTION: In this session, led by artist Jen Aitchison, kids will discover fun facts about NASA, rockets, and mysterious cosmic sights, then bring their imaginations to life through art. Young artists will learn sculpted paper techniques to build 3D sculptures, and expand their painting and drawing skills as they design their own colorful alien landscapes and out-of-this-world creations.
After School Art classes are offered every month from September-May for ages 5-16. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 2D media such as watercolor, pastel, graphite, acrylic, or printmaking. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!
