WHEN: 4-class session / Tuesdays, February 3-24, from 4:30-6 PM
DESCRIPTION: Lead by Jen Aitchison, Students will learn about the signature art styles of beloved anime worlds, such as that of Pokémon and K-Pop Demon Hunters. Students will learn basic drawing techniques as they play proportion and expression to bring stylized animal illustrations to life. Young Artists will create layered environments that tell a story, while learning about color, mood and composition.
Mark your calendars for April! All young artists who took classes at CAC from September 2025-April 2026 will be invited to submit their favorite pieces to exhibit in the 2026 CAC Youth Art Exhibition.
After School Art classes are offered every month from September-May for ages 5-18. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 2D media such as watercolor, pastel, graphite, acrylic, or printmaking. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!
