WHEN: 4-class session / Wednesdays, January 14- February 4, 6-8 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Join artist Kim Vander vinne as she guides students through the beauty and challenge of watercolor portrait portraiture. Students will learn how to simplify facial features, work within a limited color palette, and experiment with hot and cold press paper to better understand how the differences in surface affect will affect your paintings. Photo references will be provided or students may bring your own.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate and above
LOCATION: Downstairs Classroom, enter through the South Door next to mural

SUPPLIES: Students must bring the following watercolor colors in their preferred brand:
Alizarin Crimson
Cadmium Orange
Cobalt Blue
Yellow Ochre
Basic brushes will be available, but students are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
All other supplies will be provided by CAC.
