Relief Printmaking / March 25- April 8

WHEN: 3-class session / Wednesday, March 25- April 8 from 6-8 PM

DESCRIPTION: With guidance from Georgia Geis, students will be introduced to the various tools and techniques of relief printmaking. Relief printmaking is a fun, accessible way to create art that can be hand-printed in multiples on paper or other materials. Students will learn the process of planning a design, carving a block, properly inking the block, and pulling a successful print. Students will have the chance to pull prints using a variety of different presses. After a series of introductory exercises, students will produce a small edition of their own 4x6” design.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
