WHEN: 4-class session / Wednesdays, January 7- 28 from 10 AM-12 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: With guidance from Diana Stezalski, students will explore the vast possibilities of drawing media and learn how to create dynamic art that utilizes a mixture of materials. Students will experiment with graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, white chalk, and ink while also using different drawing modalities (scratchboard, printing, suminagashi) as they work to create exploratory mixed media projects. Fundamental skills on color theory, composition, value, and texture will be addressed.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / all levels are welcome
LOCATION: Use the south door next to mural, Upstairs classroom
