DESCRIPTION: Artist Diana Stezalski leads this course focused on developing a strong foundation in color theory. Students will elevate their painting skills through a better understanding of the color wheel, value, and color temperature, while learning how to create dynamic compositions using color. The class explores practical applications of color theory through a variety of painting techniques, including direct painting, scumbling, glazing, and textured effects. Students will also examine the psychology of color and how it influences mood, meaning, and visual impact in their artwork.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / All skill levels welcome

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.

Make Ups; If a single class session is postponed due to weather or instructor illness, etc., the makeup class will be held on a Friday.
