WHEN: 6-class session / Fridays, January 9- February 13 from 2 pm- 5 pm

AGES: Adults, 18+

DESCRIPTION: Go bigger! Taught by experienced ceramic artist and instructor, Maureen Duffy- Dauvigautis, this class focuses on the techniques and strategies needed to throw larger and more complex forms on the pottery wheel. Each week, students will build upon existing foundational skills while learning how to manage more clay, improve centering and control, and explore methods such as stacking thrown forms, throwing in sections, and altering larger shapes.

SKILL LEVEL: Students must be comfortable throwing basic forms on the pottery wheel.

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

TUITION: $210 for non-members / $189 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount

SUPPLIES: All materials are provided, including 25 lbs. of clay

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
